3/2 cupsmacaroni
2 Tbspvegetable oil
1onion, sliced
1small green pepper, slivered
1 clovegarlic, minced
1 lbground beef
1 tsporegano
1 tsptable salt
1/4 tsppepper
800 mLcanned tomatoes
150 mLtomato paste


  1. Cook macaroni according to instructions, drain, and set aside
  2. Meanwhile, saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in oil until tender.
    1. Add beef and seasonings, and brown
    2. Drain off excess fat once cooked
  3. Add tomatoes and tomato paste to the pan
    1. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 15 min
  4. Stir in cooked macaroni, serve, garnish with parmesan or other cheese
